Roasted Asparagus

Roasted asparagus is easy and quick! This dish is colourful, full of vitamins and low in calories!

Ingredients

1 bunch washed and dried asparagus

Olive oil

Salt & Pepper to taste

Balsamic Vinegar (optional)

Directions

Break off the thick end of the stems.

Lay dried asparagus on a stainless steel cookie sheet.

Drizzle olive oil and add your salt and pepper.

My husband likes a bit of balsamic vinegar drizzled on but this is optional!

Bake at 400 degrees OR place on barbecue at high heat until tender.

Serve hot or cold.

Try it with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese!
