About Liz
Liz is a mother, wife, daughter, aunt, friend, family and community member first. Liz has resided in the Beaches community in Toronto, Ontario for over 35 years, raising her family, shopping and dining local, owning a small business, and actively participating and contributing to local events.
Liz’s teaching style reflects her growth as a person and a recognition that each of us evolves over time, as she has. She owned a yoga studio for a number of years, and moved to an online yoga studio during Covid. Today, she is enjoying teaching and helping others and her self as a result.
Liz’s teaching developed as a result of the influence of the great teachers she has trained under and the great teachers she has practiced with. Her yoga has also evolved over the years as she has matured both mentally and physically. Her classes are mindful, balanced and mobility and flexibility for longer term health benefits. Mindful yoga classes that create enhanced cognitive function, better balance and stability in your life.

WHY Liz’s CLASSES?
Why would you come to my classes instead of the huge variety of yoga class choices currently out there?
I teach yoga for the nervous system and the brain. Exercise is the pleasant side-effect. I teach how to use yoga postures to optimize the respiratory system, to develop greater interoceptive awareness so that you can have more ability to manage your nervous system, helping you move, think and feel better. What I teach helps to reduce pain and discomfort, makes you feel better, and supports developing a deeper sense of meaning and purpose in your life.
